Arsenal vs Southampton Match Preview

So here we are again playing the Saints for the second time after we lost to them 3 days ago in the FA Cup which was very annoying as that’s our cup. That loss means we’ve lost a chance to get into Europe which is very disappointing. The only chance we have of getting into Europe now is winning the Europa League or coming top 4 which is going to be extremely hard. 

 

Based on the FA Cup game we played so poor that first half, we stepped it up 2nd half after putting Partey and Saka on, but I don’t know why Mikel put Saka in LB which was baffling to me as he was doing bits on the right-hand side.. Just seeing Willian on the team sheet has me rattled, this pagan is so so bad. Pepe as well was poor but to be fair to him he created the most chances in the squad. Now based on the last game I think if we put out the correct players, we have a good chance of winning this game. 

 

I’m going to go with a 2-1 Arsenal win just based on how we ended the 2nd half of the last game. Goal scorers I’m going with Lacazette and Saka and for the Saints, Danny Ings.
