All eyes will be on the North London Derby when Arsenal take on big rivals Spurs this Sunday at 16:30pm. Every year these two manage to throw a fantastic show especially at the Emirates. Last time they faced each other at Emirates, the game ended 2-2 with a lot of action. Although Arsenal are currently 10th, there aim is to keep their champions league hopes alive while Spurs who have found great form recently, hope to sniff around the 4th position place being only six points behind Chelsea with a game in hand.
There will be goals
This derby guarantees you goals. The last time both team failed to score was in 2009 at white hart lane, more than 10 years ago. In the reverse fixture this season, Spurs beat Arsenal 2-0 with Kane and Son getting their names on the score sheet. But Arsenal will be looking for revenge and should feel a little bit more confident as they’ve got an impressive home record against Spurs. The last time Arsenal lost to Tottenham at home in the league was 2010 when Kaboul grabbed the winner in a thrilling 2-3 victory for Spurs. So this weekend looks very juicy. Who will come out on top?
Arsenal Predicted Starting XI
Do I agree with this starting line up? No I don’t but Arteta clearly shows us who his favourite players are. We as fans never understand why he never fully puts his faith in Pepe instead of Willian or even sometimes put Martinelli in the mix. These are questions that will never be answered. The positives though will be that Aubameyang is starting to catch good form and that Pablo Mari looks very positive and solid.
Tottenham Predicted Starting XI
Harry Kane – There’s no London Derby without Kane, he seems to love this fixture. Harry Kane is the outright top scorer in North London Derbies getting 11 goals in 11 games so he’ll be dangerous for Tottenham.
